Accounts Payable Officer

Medibank is looking for a Accounts Payable Officer to join the team. This is a newly created role, and you will have real scope to shape how it works from the first month.

About the role

This is a contract/temp position based in Geelong, VIC. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.

What you’ll be doing

• Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements relevant to the role
• Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
• Report on progress and outcomes to the relevant manager
• Keep records accurate and up to date in our systems
• Deliver day-to-day work to a consistently high standard, with clear handover notes

What we’re looking for

• A current driver’s licence (preferred, not essential for all locations)
• Australian working rights
• Attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant qualification or trade certification where the role requires it

What you’ll get

• A salary in the range of $78,000 – $110,000 per year
