Light Vehicle Mechanic

We are growing and Bolton Clarke needs a Light Vehicle Mechanic who can hit the ground running. You will be working with a team that has been together for years and is genuinely good at what they do.

About the role

This is a casual/vacation position based in Hobart, TAS. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.

What you’ll be doing

• Report on progress and outcomes to the relevant manager
• Keep records accurate and up to date in our systems
• Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements relevant to the role
• Work with your team lead to plan the week and flag risks early
• Deliver day-to-day work to a consistently high standard, with clear handover notes

What we’re looking for

• A current driver’s licence (preferred, not essential for all locations)
• Relevant qualification or trade certification where the role requires it
• Relevant experience in a similar role, or demonstrated equivalent capability
• Attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership
• A positive, safety-first attitude
