Telstra is looking for a Drill Operator to join the team. This is a newly created role, and you will have real scope to shape how it works from the first month.
About the role
This is a casual/vacation position based in Sydney, NSW. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver day-to-day work to a consistently high standard, with clear handover notes
- Contribute to continuous improvement — we act on good ideas quickly
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
- Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements relevant to the role
What we’re looking for
- A positive, safety-first attitude
- Relevant experience in a similar role, or demonstrated equivalent capability
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Australian working rights
- Attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership
What you’ll get
- A salary in the range of $52 – $61 per hour
