Sales Consultant

Kmart Australia is looking for a Sales Consultant to join the team. This is a newly created role, and you will have real scope to shape how it works from the first month.

About the role

This is a contract/temp position based in Geelong, VIC. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.

What you’ll be doing

• Keep records accurate and up to date in our systems
• Work with your team lead to plan the week and flag risks early
• Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements relevant to the role
• Report on progress and outcomes to the relevant manager
• Contribute to continuous improvement — we act on good ideas quickly

What we’re looking for

• Relevant experience in a similar role, or demonstrated equivalent capability
• Relevant qualification or trade certification where the role requires it
• Attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership
• A current driver’s licence (preferred, not essential for all locations)
• A positive, safety-first attitude

What you’ll get

• A salary in the range of $69,000 – $105,000 per year
