Medical Receptionist

Suncorp is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join the team. This is a newly created role, and you will have real scope to shape how it works from the first month.

About the role

This is a full time position based in Hobart, TAS. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver day-to-day work to a consistently high standard, with clear handover notes
• Report on progress and outcomes to the relevant manager
• Contribute to continuous improvement — we act on good ideas quickly
• Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements relevant to the role
• Keep records accurate and up to date in our systems

What we’re looking for

• A positive, safety-first attitude
• Australian working rights
• Relevant experience in a similar role, or demonstrated equivalent capability
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team

What you’ll get

• A salary in the range of $74,000 – $84,000 per year
