Business Development Manager

Coles Group is looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team. This is a newly created role, and you will have real scope to shape how it works from the first month.

About the role

This is a contract/temp position based in Newcastle, NSW. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.

What you’ll be doing

• Keep records accurate and up to date in our systems
• Report on progress and outcomes to the relevant manager
• Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements relevant to the role
• Work with your team lead to plan the week and flag risks early
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What we’re looking for

• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant qualification or trade certification where the role requires it
• Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team
• Relevant experience in a similar role, or demonstrated equivalent capability
• A current driver’s licence (preferred, not essential for all locations)

What you’ll get

• A salary in the range of $82,000 – $96,000 per year
