Recruitment Consultant

Westpac is looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join the team. This is a newly created role, and you will have real scope to shape how it works from the first month.

About the role

This is a part time position based in Geelong, VIC. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.

What you’ll be doing

• Work with your team lead to plan the week and flag risks early
• Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements relevant to the role
• Report on progress and outcomes to the relevant manager
• Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
• Keep records accurate and up to date in our systems

What we’re looking for

• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant experience in a similar role, or demonstrated equivalent capability
• Attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership
• Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team
• Relevant qualification or trade certification where the role requires it

What you’ll get

• A salary in the range of $108,000 – $129,000 per year
