We are growing and Optus needs a Lab Technician who can hit the ground running. You will be working with a team that has been together for years and is genuinely good at what they do.
About the role
This is a contract/temp position based in Melbourne, VIC. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.
What you’ll be doing
- Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements relevant to the role
- Deliver day-to-day work to a consistently high standard, with clear handover notes
- Keep records accurate and up to date in our systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement — we act on good ideas quickly
- Report on progress and outcomes to the relevant manager
What we’re looking for
- Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team
- A current driver’s licence (preferred, not essential for all locations)
- Australian working rights
- Relevant qualification or trade certification where the role requires it
- Relevant experience in a similar role, or demonstrated equivalent capability
What you’ll get
- A salary in the range of $80,000 – $107,000 per year
