Graphic Designer

Kmart Australia is looking for a Graphic Designer to join the team. This is a newly created role, and you will have real scope to shape how it works from the first month.

About the role

This is a part time position based in Newcastle, NSW. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.

What you’ll be doing

• Keep records accurate and up to date in our systems
• Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
• Contribute to continuous improvement — we act on good ideas quickly
• Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements relevant to the role
• Report on progress and outcomes to the relevant manager

What we’re looking for

• Australian working rights
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant qualification or trade certification where the role requires it
• Attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership
• Relevant experience in a similar role, or demonstrated equivalent capability

• A salary in the range of $117,000 – $139,000 per year
