Recruitment Consultant

Downer Group has an opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Consultant. The team is supportive, the work is varied, and the expectations are clear.

About the role

This is a part time position based in Geelong, VIC. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.

What you’ll be doing

• Report on progress and outcomes to the relevant manager
• Work with your team lead to plan the week and flag risks early
• Keep records accurate and up to date in our systems
• Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
• Deliver day-to-day work to a consistently high standard, with clear handover notes

What we’re looking for

• Australian working rights
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• A positive, safety-first attitude
• Attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership
• Relevant qualification or trade certification where the role requires it

What you’ll get

• A salary in the range of $86,000 – $123,000 per year
