We are growing and Downer Group needs a Careers Advisor who can hit the ground running. You will be working with a team that has been together for years and is genuinely good at what they do.
About the role
This is a contract/temp position based in Newcastle, NSW. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.
What you’ll be doing
- Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
- Keep records accurate and up to date in our systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement — we act on good ideas quickly
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver day-to-day work to a consistently high standard, with clear handover notes
What we’re looking for
- Relevant qualification or trade certification where the role requires it
- Australian working rights
- A positive, safety-first attitude
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team
What you’ll get
- A salary in the range of $90,000 – $128,000 per year
