Telstra is looking for a Aged Care Support Worker to join the team. This is a newly created role, and you will have real scope to shape how it works from the first month.
About the role
This is a contract/temp position based in Melbourne, VIC. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.
What you’ll be doing
- Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements relevant to the role
- Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
- Work with your team lead to plan the week and flag risks early
- Report on progress and outcomes to the relevant manager
- Deliver day-to-day work to a consistently high standard, with clear handover notes
What we’re looking for
- Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team
- Australian working rights
- Relevant experience in a similar role, or demonstrated equivalent capability
- A current driver’s licence (preferred, not essential for all locations)
- Relevant qualification or trade certification where the role requires it
What you’ll get
- A salary in the range of $137,000 – $157,000 per year
