Aged Care Support Worker

Woolworths Group is looking for a Aged Care Support Worker to join the team. This is a newly created role, and you will have real scope to shape how it works from the first month.

About the role

This is a part time position based in Newcastle, NSW. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.

What you’ll be doing

• Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
• Contribute to continuous improvement — we act on good ideas quickly
• Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements relevant to the role
• Report on progress and outcomes to the relevant manager
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What we’re looking for

• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• A current driver’s licence (preferred, not essential for all locations)
• Relevant experience in a similar role, or demonstrated equivalent capability
• A positive, safety-first attitude
• Australian working rights

What you’ll get

• A salary in the range of $77,000 – $109,000 per year
