Westpac has an opportunity for an experienced Aged Care Support Worker. The team is supportive, the work is varied, and the expectations are clear.
About the role
This is a contract/temp position based in Newcastle, NSW. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.
What you’ll be doing
- Keep records accurate and up to date in our systems
- Work with your team lead to plan the week and flag risks early
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
- Report on progress and outcomes to the relevant manager
What we’re looking for
- Australian working rights
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant qualification or trade certification where the role requires it
- A positive, safety-first attitude
- A current driver’s licence (preferred, not essential for all locations)
What you’ll get
- A salary in the range of $137,000 – $167,000 per year
