Qantas is looking for a Chef de Partie to join the team. This is a newly created role, and you will have real scope to shape how it works from the first month.
About the role
This is a contract/temp position based in Darwin, NT. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.
What you’ll be doing
- Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
- Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements relevant to the role
- Keep records accurate and up to date in our systems
- Report on progress and outcomes to the relevant manager
- Contribute to continuous improvement — we act on good ideas quickly
What we’re looking for
- Attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership
- Relevant qualification or trade certification where the role requires it
- Australian working rights
- A positive, safety-first attitude
- Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team
What you’ll get
- A salary in the range of $89,000 – $124,000 per year
