Learning & Development Specialist

Qantas is looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to join the team. This is a newly created role, and you will have real scope to shape how it works from the first month.

About the role

This is a part time position based in Newcastle, NSW. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.

What you’ll be doing

• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements relevant to the role
• Deliver day-to-day work to a consistently high standard, with clear handover notes
• Work with your team lead to plan the week and flag risks early
• Report on progress and outcomes to the relevant manager

What we’re looking for

• Relevant experience in a similar role, or demonstrated equivalent capability
• Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team
• Attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership
• A positive, safety-first attitude
• A current driver’s licence (preferred, not essential for all locations)

What you’ll get

• A salary in the range of $69,000 – $95,000 per year
