Recruitment Consultant

Suncorp is looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join the team. This is a newly created role, and you will have real scope to shape how it works from the first month.

About the role

This is a contract/temp position based in Newcastle, NSW. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.

What you’ll be doing

• Contribute to continuous improvement — we act on good ideas quickly
• Follow all safety, quality and compliance requirements relevant to the role
• Deliver day-to-day work to a consistently high standard, with clear handover notes
• Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What we’re looking for

• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Australian working rights
• A current driver’s licence (preferred, not essential for all locations)
• Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team
• Attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership

What you’ll get

• A salary in the range of $118,000 – $139,000 per year
