Employment Coach

Downer Group is looking for a Employment Coach to join the team. This is a newly created role, and you will have real scope to shape how it works from the first month.

About the role

This is a contract/temp position based in Canberra, ACT. You will report to the team lead and work alongside a group of people who take pride in doing the basics well.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver day-to-day work to a consistently high standard, with clear handover notes
• Contribute to continuous improvement — we act on good ideas quickly
• Report on progress and outcomes to the relevant manager
• Keep records accurate and up to date in our systems
• Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members

What we’re looking for

• Relevant experience in a similar role, or demonstrated equivalent capability
• Australian working rights
• A positive, safety-first attitude
• A current driver’s licence (preferred, not essential for all locations)
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

What you’ll get

• A salary in the range of $81,000 – $119,000 per year
